Trade #1 - I misread this to be a breakout pullback long entry. It wasn't, but luckily the trade worked out. One of the benefits of trading with the trend. Even if you make a mistake, odds are stacked more in your favor. +1.00 pt.

- sell 1 @1719.25 at 11:33
Trade #2 - A failed 2nd entry short with trend line support. +1.00 pt.
- buy 1 @1720.00 at 11:43
- sell 1 @1721.00 at 11:45
Trade #3 - Again, a failed 2nd entry short with trend line support. This time, prices were bouncing off of the EMA as well. +1.00 pt.
- buy 1 @1722.50 at 15:01

Good trades, thanks for posting, really enjoying the blog. Is this an Al Brooks method?
ReplyDeleteThanks. I've seen people posting about Al Brooks in various forums (Elite Trader, Traders Laboratory, etc), but have not actually read anything of his. This is basically stuffs I've gleaned from sites such as Elite Trader, Traders Lab, etc. I'm still an ES beginner, but seems like price action is the way to go. I've tried different indicators (MACD, Bollinger Band, Stochastics, etc) in the past with no success.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very similar to Brooks (not that it matters what it's called) 20/21EMA , TC and TL. He's an ES and stock scalper. I'm trying to use his method to trade the EU but I'm still in the middle of learning it (mid way through his book). Either way nice to find another price action trader, they seem few and far between. Hope you have a good week.
